Yesterday, I hit the web for gifts instead of dealing with all the people in the local malls. I was in search of beauty lotions for mom. Let me tell you, I have gotten similar gifts along the creams line for years but every holiday season when I start shopping for them again it amazes me how many varieties of the stuff are out there.

From caramel to rosemary to vanilla to rose pedal, it seems like there is every single sweet, girly scent a person could imagine for women’s beauty lotion. It had my head spinning. Luckily, a female friend was over. I needed all the advice I could get. She asked me, “what smells my mom likes.” She mine as well asked who the leader of Uzbekistan was. These are questions I have no answer to. She took my answer in stride and picked out a vanilla scented beauty lotion she would like. I went with it. Felt like a good neutral smell mom would love.
