Using Creams To Protect My Skin In Winter |

During my first winter in Maryland I learned something. I found out that a very cold winter can really dry out my skin. Before I moved to the US and married my husband I had lived in England and spent some years teaching in Greece. British and Greek winters are comparatively mild compared to those here in Maryland, so harsh weather drying my skin out is not something I had ever experienced before I came here. Fortunately I have found a way to counter the impact that cold weather has on my skin. Every year I stock up on creams before the weather changes. I am talking about creams for the body and creams for the face. Throughout the colder months I use these creams religiously a couple of times per day. I have found that by using creams in the winter I can keep my skin soft and supple as opposed to dry, flaky and itchy. That keeps me comfortable and ensures that my skin remains soft enough to touch. I usually buy my face and body creams online because I have found that internet shopping allows me to buy high end products for less than the standard retail price.
