women's perfume, beauty lotionI do realize that there are more important things in life, but products like women's perfume, beauty lotion and makeup are still very important to me. I would not describe myself as a particularly vain woman. It is not as though I am fixated with how I look and smell. Yet I do use women's perfume and beauty lotion on a daily basis for what I think is a very good reason.
Everywhere we turn there are images of beauty. I see beautiful well-maintained women in movies, on TV shows, in the pages of magazines and out on the street. If I did not make an effort with my own appearance by using makeup, spraying on women's perfume and putting on nice clothes it would make me feel as though I did not come even close to measuring up. If I felt unattractive as a woman then it would have a detrimental impact on my self-esteem. I use products like creams and women's perfume so that I can feel better about the hand I have been dealt and make the best of what I have got.
